Biking Idea.
1. Working Title
A biking video on Grinshill, showing off the local trails. The video will be produced by Ollie, Ken and James.
2. Brief description of the product to be made.
Mountain biking promo video, around 5:00 in length, filmed in a rural setting. Its going to
be a mixture of different trails and over Grinshill. The theme of the video is going to be a ‘day in the life’. We will have different shots and also some point of views (POV) but mostly tripod use. There will be long and mid shots to show speed and the kind of terrain we will be riding.
3. Roles assigned eg producer, camera operator.
We will all have input in all aspects, so we will all do a little bit of everything. Ken and I will be riding our bikes in the video and James will be operating the camera. We will take turns in doing each part of the product. Ken and I will be riding because we have more experience riding bike, and James will be using the camera because that is one of his strengths. We will all be producing the product, to make sure its how we all want it. After the shooting we all had help each other will our new roles. I had the role of finding interesting edits on the internet to adapt on, and apply to our video, Ken had the role of editing the video and applying the interesting features that I had found and James will be using photoshop to create headers and Images for our production, but he also helped with the research and editing.
4. Equipment booked eg still camera, tripod.
We will be booking a video camera to film the production and tripod to make sure we have steady shots on our video.
5. Materials ordered eg paper, computer disks
We will need an SD card to capture all of the video on and we will need a firewire to send the information to the computer.
6.Locations eg; studio, office, outside location
The video will be filmed at grinshill and edited back at school by bring in the memory card from the video cameras. Most of the work will be outdoors with filming but we will edit it together indoors using after effects.
7. schedule activities eg dates and time
We will probably need a weekend of dry weather and we are hoping to do it before the summer holidays as the nights will start getting earlier. We aim to be at the shooting location at around 11am to 12am and finish about 3pm to 4pm. This should give us plenty of time to shoot all the pieces we need to shoot.
